Mega centers
Chances are you will find at least one mega-shopping area near your residence. Large and medium-sized specialized stores, shops, movie theatres, restaurants and much more, everything is close at hand. What could be better than some quick last-minute shopping before arriving home from work?
Shopping centres
- Carrefour Laval is the largest shopping centre in the province. In addition to its spectacular garden that changes with the seasons, you’ll also find 300 stores.
- Centre Laval, with its 150 shops and department stores
- Centropolis is devoted to shopping, entertainment and food. You’ll find some 30 shops with unique, attractive and innovative concepts, including a movie theater
- Centre Duvernay, with over 75 stores and shops
Markets
Those who love flea and public markets are well served:
- Le Marché aux Puces St-Martin, with over 400 booths
- Le Marché public 440: specialized food shops, such as a bakery, a pastry shop, a butcher shop, a fruit store, a cheese shop, a fish market, sausages and sushi. Weather permitting, storeowners set up shop outside, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of public markets from yesteryear.
